At PCM faculty, we teach and research in aspects such as

• Animal Medicine,
• Companion Animals,
• Laboratory Animals,
• Small Animals,
• Equine Resources,
• Sports Medicine
• Experimental Medicine
• All aspects of pharmacology, pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.

The department has all the above broad expertise and is supported by shared training field sites (university farms) and a small animal veterinary clinic at the college.

The department is headed by Associate Professor Acai James Okwee.
