The department has broad expertise in Animal Medicine, Companion Animals, Laboratory Animals, Small Animals, Equine Resources, Sports Medicine, Experimental Medicine etc, and is supported by shared training field sites (university farms) and a small animal veterinary clinic at the college.
Wildlife and Aquatic Resources Management (WARM)
The Department of Wildlife and Aquatic Animal Resources Management has been in existence since 1997. The Department is engaged in fostering health, production and management of wildlife and aquatic animal resources so as to promote their conservation and utilization for improvement of human livelihoods through increased household incomes and food security.
